A multi-year, multi-million-dollar commitment to invest in Chicago's West Side between the Chicago Blackhawks Foundation and A Better Chicago, alongside generous support partner United Airlines, equipping local leaders and fueling programs and services that enable Chicago's youth to thrive at all stages of life.
A program providing $5,000 grants to minority-owned small businesses located in West Side neighborhoods, while also assisting with financial resources, peer and business mentorship and marketing support throughout the year. Applications are typically available for interested businesses every Fall with grants typically awarded each Spring.
Get Out And Learn (G.O.A.L.) introduces hockey at the grassroots level to kids who may not otherwise have the opportunity to play at schools, community centers and other places where kids can play in safe, structured environments. The Blackhawks provide equipment, tips and instruction from youth hockey coaches.
