RELEASE: Blackhawks Announce Dates for 2019 Holiday Season Drives

The Chicago Blackhawks encourage fans to give back to our local community this holiday season through the Chicago Blackhawks Foundation's series of upcoming donation initiatives.
For each drive, collection bins will be placed at Fifth Third Arena, the Chicago Blackhawks Community Ice Rink, as well as at the United Center near Gates 2, 3, 4 (Atrium), 6 and 7 on the specified game nights.

FOOD DRIVE

Collection Location and Dates:
The Blackhawks will be collecting canned goods and non-perishable items to be donated to Chicagoland area food banks. Fans who donate goods when entering the United Center for the games on Nov. 17 and Nov. 19, specifically, will be entered into a nightly drawing to win Blackhawks prizes.

WINTER GEAR DRIVE

Collection Location and Dates:
Fans are encouraged to bring new or like-new coats and other winter gear in youth sizes to the various collection bins to benefit Chicago Blackhawks Foundation grant recipient, Cradles to Crayons, an organization that distributes everyday essentials to local children in need.

TOY DRIVE

Collection Location and Dates:
Through the Foundation's annual Toy Drive, sponsored by Vienna Beef, the Blackhawks will be collecting new, unwrapped toys to be given to youth patients and their families at hospitals and local organizations throughout the Chicagoland area. Fans who donate toys when entering the United Center for the games on Dec. 15 and Dec. 18, specifically, will be entered into a nightly drawing to win Blackhawks prizes.
